1/2 Day Waterfall | $55

One of our most refreshing and exciting excursions is our trip to explore 7 famous waterfalls. This national park is situated only half an hour from Puerto Plata and consists of the winding river Damajagua, making its way down the mountain forming 27 awesome waterfalls with natural slide sand amazing cliffs.This all natural water park has been turned into a mayor attraction especially for young people who like to get an adrenalin rush.It takes about half an hour on foot walking on beautiful trails through the tropical rain forest to get to the waterfalls.Swim across the first pool and start making your way up the rocks.You will be swimming through narrow gorges of crystal clear mountain spring water, jumping and sliding into the pools of water formed in between the limestone

cliffs.

For your protection you will be provided with life vests and helmets and we advise you to wear sturdy outdoor shoes or water shoes and not to bring anything that cannot get wet.

Young children below the age of 8 can only climb the first waterfall.

Beach Horseback Riding | $79

Horse back riding on the beach is one of the nicest things you can do on a Caribbean island. Experiencing the nature up close from the back of a horse makes all the difference.The wind, the sun and the waves will give you so much positive energy and oxygen.Our tour starts with a relaxing ride on small trails through sugarcane fields and jungle for about 40 minutes until you arrive at the beach. We ride our hearts out on a stretch of solitary secluded beach framed with palm trees.
Afterwards there is a break at a typical restaurant for a drink and you have the chance to swim with the horses.Wear long pants (jeans or Capri's)bathing suits and sturdy outdoor shoes.

We follow the coastal road for a spectacular drive along beaches, villages and waving coconut palm trees to arrive at the area of Rio San Juan, an area not yet discovered by many tourists; meaning that you will have these natural beauties all to yourself!First we take a relaxing cruise on the
Laguna Gri Gri, a fresh water lagoon or mangrove.We then visit Playa Grande, a beautiful stretch of pure white sand said to be one of the world's best 10 beaches!From there it is a small distance to the famous Blue Lagoon ; an underground river comes up in a cave and created a natural swimming pool surrounded with limestone rocks which makes for delightful swimming.Also on the program isa visit to a tropical zoo and the shallow water bay of Caleton Beach.

Cable Car | $35

The funicular or Cable Car is one of the most popular attractions of the Puerto Plata area. The mountain Isabel de Torres towers over the city with its peak at an altitude of 2,555 feet(779 m)above sea level, giving visitors a breathtaking view of the city laid out below.The funicular was builtin 1975 by an Italian company and its cars hold up to 17 people and it takes about 8 minutes to climb and descend the mountain.Visitors can enjoy a beautifully landscaped botanical garden with215 different plants and flowers of the country.
Also at the top is a copy of the famous statue in Rio de Janeiro of Jesus Christ the Redeemer.

The Dolphin Encounter offers close contact with a dolphin in waist deep water touching and playing with this gentle mammal.An interaction that is fun and educational, ideal for non swimmers and families with young children.The program is a half hour session observing and interacting with our playful Dolphin. Deep Sea Fishing Charter | $595

Deep sea fishing is very exciting, it is a challenge to catch one of the big ones such as Marlin; Blue and White, which are catch and release, mahi mahi or dolphin fish, wahoo, tuna, shark and barracuda.
As we set out of the port the captain will look for schools of fish with the fish finder(sonar radar). The staff will prepare the fishing rods with the bait and hang them over the side of the boat. Meanwhile the captain keeps the boat going trawling until a fish bites.When it does, one of you will get to sit in the big chair and try to reel it in. Included are beer, rum, coke, water and fresh fruit.

This is a relaxed day outing to the most spectacular mountain scenery and waterfalls in the

But first our tour takes us to the second city in the Dominican Republic;Santiago de los Caballeros where we visit the largest cigar manufacturer; the factory of Leon Jimenez.Hand rolled cigars are made right in front of you and they find their way to millions of cigar aficionados all over the world.
Next is a stop at the Monument for the Independence in the centre of Santiago.Then we go climbing up the mountains roads with spectacular views before arriving at Rancho Baiguate. Taking the experience one step further, guests encounter, kiss, hug, pet, and feed dolphins in deep water during 1/2 hour and afterwards the session continues in the beach area for 1/2 hour more,

River Rafting | $95

Get ready for the thrill of a lifetime.Our River Rafting excursion takes you to the heart of the island where we find the highest mountains of the Caribbean, reaching peaks of more then 10,000 ft and in these mountains the island's biggest rivers form.Our rafting takes place on the famous river Jaque del Norte; exciting rapids with steep drops and with names such as the Mike Tyson, make it a class 3 to 4 rapids.A pure challenge and a day of breathtaking action, sparkling crystal clear water and gorgeous mountain scenery.
Included in your trip are equipment such as wet suit, life vest and helmets and instructions by qualified river guides.Each raft fits six people plus the guide and the rafting itself takes about 3 to 4 hours with several breaks in between.Back at the ranch you will have a well deserved lunch.Relax and watch the video of today's adventure and then it's time to go back to the hotel.

Join us for a wonderful evening, gazing at the stars and the moon and enjoying the cool Caribbean breeze.We set out in the late afternoon and look at the city as it prepares for the evening.People flock to the many terraces on the ocean boulevard and sit down for a relaxing cocktail or ice cold beer.A visit to the voodoo store explains all about this mysterious religion brought over by African slaves and dressed up with Christian names as not to upset the Spanish colonial authorities.We also see how cigars are hand rolled and you have a chance to try your hand at one yourself.

Watch a beautiful Caribbean sunset with a cocktail in your hand from one of the terraces facing the ocean.Then we will go to a gourmet restaurant for a 3 course dinner.We finish the night with tropical rhythms at the Ocean World Marina, perfect for birthday parties, celebrations and romantic get-a-ways.

Tip Top Catamaran Sosua | $83

Navigation on a luxury catamaran of 75 feet.We are boarding in Sosua bay in the morning and cruising to "Playa Chiquita".Then we stop for snorkeling at the "3 rocks".A nice lunch is served on board with all kind of drinks.There is possibility to do a second snorkeling around the
catamaran.And then we are cruising and sailing along the cost with animation and dance on board to arrive in the Ocean World Marina at the end of the afternoon.

Sunset Beach Horseback Riding | $99

Whale watching or whale spotting is an emotional experience.Every year, between the months of January and March, the beautiful humpback whales travel to the secluded bay of Samana to rest and play and to give birth.Watching these impressive creatures from up close, majestically rise from the water spouting fountains of water and splashing their gigantic tails, is indeed unforgettable.

Zip Lining | $90

Only a 30 minute drive along the scenic route from Puerto Plata you will find The Zip Lining Adventure Park, where you can enjoy spectacular views of our city and the Atlantic Ocean. Once at the park, our highly experienced guides will train each participant on the security system and installation of our specialised equipment and the details of the trail.
This is where your adrenalin starts to flow; when you launch off the first of 10 platforms and 8 cables which make up the system, when you are suspended in the air between 100 and 300 meters, with speeds of up to 30 mph and heights of up to 100 feet above ground, gaining a fusion of adventure and emotion which will result in an unforgettable experience. Guests should wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. Pants or longer shorts are recommended.No skirts.Long hair should be tied back to avoid entanglement.
